Our Visit to the Maize Maze

Last Thursday a group of very excited children boarded the bus to travel to the Maize Maze at Te Kowhai.  We had to listen carefully to the instructions before we entered the maze.
Once in the maze we used our problem solving skills to find our way.  Sometimes we turned left and sometimes right.  Sometimes we had to turn around and go back because we had cometo a dead end

Once we were out of the maze we got to see some animals and play on some ride on toys.  It was a tired, happy group of children who returned back to school again.

At school we have been doing a lot of follow up learning activities about our Maize maze trip.

Hi Room 6
I really enjoyed seeing your photos and maze work. It can be pretty tricky working out how to get through a maze! Have you learnt any tricks to help you?

I like to use my left and right, forward or backward to help me!
